Lentil Soup

2 cups lentils
2 Tbsp. vegan beef style seasoning
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
3 Tbsp. snipped parsley
2 cloves garlic
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
2 cups tomatoes

Rinse lentils. Drain and place in soup kettle. Add eight cups water and remaining ingredients except water and remaining ingredients except tomatoes. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add tomatoes (break-up large pieces). Simmer covered 30 minutes longer.
