Millet Squares

Millet Squares

From The McDougall Plan for Maximum Weight Loss

1 c millet
4 cups water
1/2 tsp salt (optional)

Bring millet and water to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for an hour. Press into baking dish (I used a 9X9 cake pan)and let cool at least 45 min or refrige overnight to set. Then slice into squares and put on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 (?, can't remember for sure) for 45 min...

I think that's it...The millet should be crispy.  Top w/ sugar free jam.

Also, you will need to use either a nonstick pan or use small amount non-stick spray.
