Berry Pie
Berry Pie

Recipe by: Marilyn

I got a recipe off the Hallelujah Acres website, and adapted it a bit to suit what I had on hand. Except for whatever's in the graham cracker crust I used, there's NO added sugar of any kind, just fruit.  The original recipe called for a homemade raw crust, but I had two ready made graham cracker crusts on hand already, so I used those.  The recipe said to use only strawberries, but I didn't have enough for two pies, so I mixed strawberries and blueberries. Here's what I did:

I put about one large box of blueberries and 1+ qts. of strawberries (cut up) into the pie crusts, distributing them evenly.

In my blender, I mixed one T. fresh lemon juice, 5 soft pitted dates, 8 lg. strawberries, and two small bananas. For two pies, I did this twice--two separate batches.

I poured the mixture over the berries in the pie plates, and put the pies in the refrigerator to chill.

That's it! Easy and delicious and totally sugar free! Marilyn
