Ginger Soy Sauce

(From "From the Earth: Chinese Vegetarian Cooking")
1 1/2 T shredded fresh ginger
1 1/2 T dark soy sauce
1 1/2 T light soy sauce
1 teas sugar
3 T vegetable stock
1 scallion, white part only, sliced into 1/2" lengths
Generous pinch of white pepper
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Allow to stand for 30 minutes before
serving.
