Hawaiian Baked Beans

  2       16-ounce cans  baked beans -- (vegetarian style)
  1 1/2           cups  crushed pineapple -- drained
  2        Tablespoons  finely chopped onion
  2-4        Tablespoons  maple syrup -- or other sweetener

Preheat oven to 400.  Combine all ingredients; stir well.  Spoon into a 2-quart casserole dish.  Bake uncovered at 350 for 50-60 minutes.  Makes about 6-8 servings.
